What is The Attic?
Creating a community closet for Cremona was an idea that was laid on CCF member, Cassy Hanson’s, heart in 2022. What better way could we show God’s love than by giving, with no expectation of return?
So in September 2022, The Attic was created in the little attic space above the front doors at Cremona Country Fellowship (CCF). It quickly grew, proving to be a blessing to many. The Attic quickly outgrew it’s original space.
Why is the Attic in a basement?
In order to keep up with God’s plan, The Attic relocated in September 2023, when the Cremona Congregational Church graciously donated their large basement area to The Attic. That’s when a little name change was needed and it became “The Attic on 2nd”.
What is The Attic’s mission?
The Attic on 2nd is completely cashless, 100% volunteer run and it’s operating costs are covered between the two local churches. Everything from the paint on the walls to the wood and rebar for The Attic on 2nd’s clothing racks has been donated to this cause. Your donations of clothing and household goods allow this Outreach Ministry to serve the people of Cremona and surrounding areas!
