Pastor Thomas Maier
Thomas Maier was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and came to know Christ at a young age. He graduated from Vanguard College in 2017 where he focused on theology, ministry, and intercultural studies. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity through the Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary. Between finishing college and graduating seminary, he has done ministry in a variety of settings, including children’s ministry, Bible teaching, discipleship, addictions recovery, and overseas missions (in Asia).
Thomas married Kristina in 2018, and they now have two young sons and recently welcomed a baby girl to their family. As a family they especially enjoy reading, being outside in God’s magnificent creation, and spending time with others.
Thomas has been the Pastor of Cremona Country Fellowship since the Spring of 2024. His passion as a pastor for both his church and the surrounding community is found in these words:
“Christ we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” (Colossians 1:28-29)
